Derby South is an independent website that is dedicated to the promotion of roller derby throughout the South. We have teams in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas.

The mission of Derby South is three-fold:

1. To support the growth of roller derby, particularly in the southeast United States.

2. To provide recognition and exposure to younger and smaller teams that do not yet have a presence on the national derby scene.

3. To promote competition among local teams by providing a ranking system and yearly tournament.
